Nanny Needed In Indianapolis 5/14!
About The Position
A warm and dependable temporary nanny is needed to care for two children in Indianapolis on May 14 from 10:30 AM–6:00 PM while their parents attend an event. The children are 6 years old and 2 years old. The eldest child has Down Syndrome, and both children are deaf and supported with cochlear implants. The eldest child can walk short distances with one-hand assistance, and the youngest is not yet walking, so candidates must be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities are limited to childcare duties only--engaging play, supervision, and assisting with mobility needs. Candidates local to Indianapolis are preferred, though the family is open to flying in the right candidate.
Requirements
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds
- Experience with children with Down Syndrome
- Experience with deaf children or children with cochlear implants
- Ability to provide one-hand assistance for walking
