About The Position

A kind, loving family of four in North Oaks is seeking a full-time nanny to care for two children, ages 2.5 years and 1 year. The parents work from home regularly and occasionally travel for work. The family also has a friendly 10-year-old Black Lab/Border Collie mix. The nanny will provide attentive childcare, plan and lead engaging activities, spend time outdoors with the children when weather permits, and prepare and serve their meals and snacks. The role also includes children’s laundry, tidying toys and common areas, light vacuuming, and keeping the dog’s water fresh. Beginning when the older child starts preschool in fall 2027, the nanny will handle school drop-offs and pick-ups using the family vehicle. The family values a caregiver who can maintain a dependable routine while adapting to the changing needs of a toddler and infant, and who can independently plan creative enrichment activities. Candidates should be comfortable working in a home where parents work remotely. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, starting November 2, 2026. Compensation is $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience and relevant education.

Requirements

Professional nanny experience.
Solid newborn and infant care experience.
Able to provide structured yet flexible care, maintaining a reliable daily routine while adapting to children’s changing needs.
Creative and proactive, with the ability to independently plan and carry out daily enrichment activities.
Comfortable working in a home where both parents work remotely occasionally or regularly.

Responsibilities

Provide loving, attentive care for two children, ages 2.5 years and 1 year.
Plan and lead fun, independent activities and daily enrichment.
Take the children outdoors for fresh air when weather permits.
Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the children.
Do the children’s laundry, tidy toys, perform light vacuuming, and handle general daily tidying.
When the older child starts preschool in fall 2027, transport the child for pick-ups and drop-offs using the family vehicle.
Keep the family dog’s water fresh throughout the day.
