Part-Time Infant Nanny Needed
About The Position
The family is seeking a warm, patient nanny to care for their baby boy, who will be 5 months old when care begins. The family hopes to find someone calm and confident who will give the baby time to adjust to new people and build a trusting connection. The role involves partnering with two hands-on parents who work from home to provide nurturing care and support the child’s development. The household also includes one large, friendly dog. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, in North Phoenix, Arizona. The start date is November 2, 2026. The starting rate is $18.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Confident experience caring for infants ages 5 months and older.
- Warm, attentive, and patient approach.
- Open-mindedness and flexibility with a baby-led routine.
- Comfort working in a home where both parents work from home.
- Comfort around one large, friendly dog.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using paced bottle-feeding techniques.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive infant care, including feeding, diapering, and supporting naps.
- Offer engaging, age-appropriate play and enrichment without screen time.
- Prepare bottles and wash feeding supplies.
- Tidy toys, enrichment materials, and play areas after use.
- Partner with the parents to support the infant’s development and daily routine.
