Full Time Infant Nanny – Astoria, NY
About The Position
A family in Astoria, New York is seeking an attentive caregiver to provide dedicated care for their infant son, who is approximately five months old. The family hopes to establish a collaborative, supportive partnership with a nanny who takes a caring and thoughtful approach. The household has two cats and is smoke-free, and values gentle, collaborative, communicative caregiving. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Compensation is $25–$30 per hour. Candidates must undergo a background check and provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. The caregiver is hired directly by the family; Wellthy is not an agency and does not employ caregivers.
Requirements
- Relevant infant care experience.
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to speak Hindi.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing and dressing the child.
- Change diapers and/or assist with potty training.
- Plan meals, prepare baby food, and feed the child.
- Engage the child in age-appropriate educational activities and developmental play.
- Perform light housekeeping and the child's laundry.
