About The Position

A Rancho Santa Fe family is seeking a warm, dependable, and engaging nanny to care for their toddler, who is 2 years and 10 months old. This less-than-part-time, live-out position includes care on Wednesday mornings and Sunday evenings, with occasional additional hours potentially available by mutual agreement.

On Wednesday mornings, the nanny will accompany and supervise the toddler during her tennis lesson and help prepare breakfast and snacks. Sunday evenings will involve caring for the toddler while the parents are out. The nanny will provide attentive, nurturing care and keep the child safe, happy, and engaged in age-appropriate activities. The role may also involve occasional driving or errands and pet-related needs as applicable.

The position is located in Rancho Santa Fe, California. The start date is the end of November 2026. Compensation is $35–$45 per hour depending on experience; the higher end may be offered for Sunday evening care. Health benefits and a 401(k) are not provided, and relocation is not provided.

Requirements

• Previous experience caring for toddlers or young children.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and nurturing disposition.
• Comfortable supervising a toddler during activities outside the home.
• Able to prepare simple meals and snacks for a young child.
• Flexible and open to occasional additional hours when available.
• Excellent references.
• Willingness to complete an advanced third-party background check.

Nice To Haves

• Speaking Serbian or French is especially welcome, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, age-appropriate care for one toddler, age 2 years and 10 months.
