About The Position
A family in Mamaroneck, New York, is seeking an engaging, reliable full-time nanny to care for their 8-month-old daughter. The home is smoke-free and pet-free. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The family provides reimbursement for work-related mileage and gas. This is a private, family-hired position; caregivers are hired directly by the family and are not employed by Wellthy. Candidates must provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States and will be subject to a background check.
Requirements
- Previous professional childcare or nanny experience.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle for use on the job, and clean driving record.
- Ability to safely transport the child to scheduled activities.
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Candidates are subject to a background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, nurturing infant care, including diapering, potty training assistance, bathing, and dressing.
- Plan and prepare age-appropriate nutritious meals, bottles, and snacks, and assist with introducing solids.
- Engage the child in age-appropriate educational play and developmental activities, including reading, music, floor play, and activities supporting motor skills.
- Take the child on outdoor walks and age-appropriate outings, and transport the child to appointments outside the home as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the child’s bottles, feeding supplies, toys, and play areas.
- Handle child-related laundry and light housekeeping.
