About The Position

East Wind Nannies is seeking a hybrid nanny/household manager for a professional family in Lawrenceville, Pittsburgh. The role involves caring for a 3-month-old baby while primarily managing household tasks and helping two busy dads keep their home running smoothly. The family has two large hypoallergenic doodles, with a combined weight of 155 pounds. The nanny will provide attentive infant care, support the baby's routines and development, and keep baby supplies organized and stocked. Household duties include washing bottles and dishes, tidying the first floor, managing deliveries, doing laundry as needed, coordinating vendor appointments, restocking groceries and pantry essentials, changing the primary bedroom sheets, and handling prescription pickups and other household errands. Walking the dogs is ideally part of the daily routine, though the family may arrange additional dog-walking help. Weekly deep cleaning is handled by a housekeeper. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with flexibility to shift earlier or later as needed. The position guarantees 45 hours per week. The family may relocate in late spring, but plans are not finalized, so this could be a shorter-term opportunity; ample notice will be provided. Start date is ASAP. Hourly pay is $30–$38, depending on experience, and the family is open to employer 401(k) matching.
