About The Position

A warm, busy Connecticut family is seeking an experienced, proactive full-time nanny and family assistant for three children, including an infant. This is a long-term, weekend-focused position with two guaranteed days off. The family is open to live-in accommodation on workdays only, with a private guest bedroom and bathroom, or a live-out arrangement. Candidates must live within commuting distance and be willing to commute occasionally to the city with the family. The schedule is approximately 40–50 hours per week, includes weekend coverage, early mornings, and some evenings, and may vary with school days off, children’s illnesses, and parents’ work events. Rare overnights may be requested when an event runs late; notice and compensation will be discussed in advance. The role combines childcare with family support. The nanny will collaborate respectfully with the household’s housekeeper. A paid, multi-day working trial will take place before a final hiring decision. The target start date is early November. Pay is $40–50+ per hour gross depending on experience, paid via payroll. Benefits will be discussed based on experience, schedule, and responsibilities.
