About The Position
We are a dual-physician household grounded in hard work, continuous learning, and strong family connections. With three busy kids and dynamic medical careers, our home is active, structured, and supportive. We believe in taking care of those who support us, and we are looking for a key partner to help our household run smoothly! We are seeking a reliable, kind, organized, and calm Nanny & House Manager to keep our home organized during the day and care for our children after school. Your day will blend proactive household organization with engaging childcare.
Requirements
- Reliable & Adaptable: Comfortable with a variable schedule that aligns with physician shift hours (including ~5 longer days per month planned in advance).
- Organized & Self-Motivated: Takes initiative during the morning hours (10 AM – 3 PM) to manage home tasks efficiently before school pick-up.
- Calm & Warm Demeanor: Brings a relaxed, reassuring energy to our kids' after-school routine.
- Safe Driver: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for school and activity runs.
Responsibilities
- Pickups from school, driving to extracurricular activities, facilitating homework time, and enjoying laid-back, fun downtime at home.
- Grocery shopping, running errands, and keeping supplies stocked.
- Family and children's laundry, sweeping, general tidying, and maintaining a welcoming space.
- Keeping our dog happy, fed, and walked. Violet is our 45lb Terrier. She is an enthusiastic greeter but mostly a couch potato.
