Maple Grove - Nanny and Household Manager Needed
About The Position
Are you a proactive, high-energy professional who loves balancing the fun of childcare with the satisfaction of keeping a home running like a well-oiled machine? If you’re a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, our busy Maple Grove family wants to meet you! We have two awesome, energetic boys (ages 10.5 and 8) who need a positive role model, a chauffeur to activities, and a partner in fun. When they are at school, you'll shift gears into Household Manager mode to keep our lives organized and seamless. Providing attentive pet care to our lovable 3-year-old Golden Retriever is also a core requirement of this role, ensuring our furry family member is well-loved and looked after throughout the day. The Schedule (Guaranteed Full-Time Hours) We offer consistency and stability, paying you for full-time hours regardless of the season! School Year Hours: Roughly 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM Summer Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Date Night Flexibility: One day per week (both in summer and the school year) will feature a later start and a later evening finish so mom and dad can enjoy a date night! Travel/Overnights: We need someone open to occasional overnight care when we travel for business or pleasure (our longest trip to date has been 5 nights).
Requirements
- Proven track record as a professional nanny or household manager with glowing references.
- Self-starter who takes pride in ownership and creating an organized, happy environment.
- Energetic, positive, "can-do" attitude.
- Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a safe, reliable vehicle.
- Comfortable managing strict dietary restrictions.
- Must love dogs.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, fun, and safe care for our two boys.
- Handle school pick-ups/drop-offs, homework help, and after-school routines.
- Organize, light laundry, keeping the home tidy, and anticipating the family's needs.
- Prepare healthy snacks and meals, strictly adhering to allergy protocols and safety.
- Manage schedules, grocery shop, and tackle miscellaneous household tasks.
- Daily walks, belly rubs, and ensuring there is food and clean water available for our golden retriever.
