About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a part-time Musician to perform live music for residents at The Hebrew Home, a retirement community in Riverdale, New York. The schedule is two weekdays from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., plus Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The hourly wage is $25–$30. Candidates with experience playing a portable instrument and comfort moving throughout the venue while performing are strongly preferred. The musician should be proficient with one or more instruments and able to perform live for an audience. The role also calls for adapting musical selections to residents’ preferences and abilities, and for bringing a warm, engaging presence to interactions with residents.
