About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is hiring a part-time Musician to perform live music for residents at The Hebrew Home, a retirement community in Riverdale, New York. The schedule is two weekdays from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The hourly wage is $25–$30. Candidates with experience playing a portable instrument and comfort moving throughout the venue while performing are strongly preferred. The musician will perform for older adult residents and adapt musical selections to their preferences and abilities. The role calls for a warm, engaging presence, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a reliable and professional demeanor. Experience performing for older adults or in a senior living, healthcare, or community setting is preferred. Requirements

Proficiency in one or more musical instruments.
Ability to perform live for an audience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, engaging presence.
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
Availability to perform during weekdays with occasional weekend availability.

Nice To Haves

Experience playing a portable instrument and comfort moving throughout the venue while performing are strongly preferred.
