About The Position

National Educational Music Company (NEMC) is seeking an experienced, full-time Musical Instrument Repair Technician to join their team. This role involves servicing and repairing a wide range of musical instruments, diagnosing problems, and collaborating with other professionals. The technician will also have the opportunity to coach and train new technicians in the apprenticeship program and will have access to high-quality equipment and an ergonomic workspace. NEMC is part of Ensemble Performing Arts, a leading music education organization with a mission to empower artists. Requirements

  • Prior experience as an instrument repair technician (required)
  • An organized, motivated self-starter who takes ownership of their work
  • A strong customer-service mindset and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Service and repair rental fleet and customer owned instruments
  • Diagnose damage and performance problems across a wide range of instruments
