About The Position

National Educational Music Company (NEMC) is seeking an experienced full-time Musical Instrument Repair Technician to join their growing team. This role involves servicing and repairing brass, woodwind, and string instruments, diagnosing damage and performance issues, and collaborating with other professionals. The technician will also help coach and train new techs in the apprenticeship program and will have access to top-quality equipment and an ergonomic workspace. NEMC is part of Ensemble Performing Arts, an organization dedicated to supporting school music programs for over 60 years.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as an instrument repair technician (required)
  • An organized, motivated self-starter who takes ownership of their work
  • A strong customer-service mindset and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Service and repair rental fleet and customer owned instruments
  • Diagnose damage and performance problems across a wide range of instruments
  • Collaborate with other professionals in a fun, engaging environment
