Musical Instrument Associate Part-Time/Seasonal
About The Position
Schmitt Music is seeking a seasonal, part-time Sales Associate to assist new incoming band and orchestra students in choosing the instrument of their dreams! The purpose of this job is to provide excellent customer service to students and parents when completing the Better Than Rent contracts at various locations within Schmitt’s service area. Schmitt Music is a well-known, respected, family-owned musical instrument dealer in the Twin Cities and surrounding region. Requirements
- Ability to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Attend and complete training sessions.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to students and parents.
- Assist new band and orchestra students in selecting instruments.
- Complete Better Than Rent contracts at various Schmitt Music locations.
- Collaborate with a team of creative music professionals.
- Use the point-of-sale system for sales, inventory, and updating customer records.
- Help customers, restock showroom, and receive inventory.
- Ability to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Attend and complete training sessions.
