Experienced Musical Instrument Repair Technicians (Full-Time in Castle Hills, TX)
About The Position
National Educational Music Company (NEMC) is seeking an experienced, full-time Musical Instrument Repair Technician to join their team. This role involves servicing and repairing a variety of instruments, diagnosing problems, and collaborating with other professionals. The technician will also have the opportunity to coach and train new techs in an apprenticeship program and will have access to high-quality equipment and an ergonomic workspace. NEMC is part of Ensemble Performing Arts, a leading music education organization with a mission to empower artists. This is a full-time, hourly, in-person role with competitive pay and opportunities for career advancement. Signing bonuses or relocation assistance are available for strong candidates.
Requirements
- Prior experience as an instrument repair technician (required)
- An organized, motivated self-starter who takes ownership of their work
- A strong customer-service mindset and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Service and repair rental fleet and customer owned instruments
- Diagnose damage and performance problems across a wide range of instruments
- Collaborate with other professionals in a fun, engaging environment
- Help coach and train new techs enrolled in our apprenticeship program
