About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a music educator to teach private lessons and inspire students of varying ages and skill levels. The Music Teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment, builds relationships with students and parents through communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, and works with store teams on lesson scheduling and student retention. The role focuses especially on woodwind instruction. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially with a woodwind instrument.

Nice To Haves

• Further teaching experience with related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
