About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a skilled musician and dedicated educator to teach private music lessons and help students build a lifelong relationship with music. The Music Teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. The role includes building relationships with students and parents, communicating about goals and progress, and coordinating with store teams on lesson scheduling and student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching and inspiring students.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
