About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a skilled musician and dedicated educator to teach private music lessons and inspire students. The Music Teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. The role includes communicating with students and parents, setting goals, and providing progress updates, as well as working with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching and supporting students’ musical growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.

Responsibilities
