About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a Music Teacher to teach private music lessons and inspire students. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. The role includes building relationships with students and parents through communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, and partnering with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. The company handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching and student growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially with a brass instrument.

Nice To Haves

• Further teaching experience with related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
