About The Position

Music & Arts is hiring a Music Teacher to teach private music lessons and inspire students of varying ages and skill levels. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment; builds positive relationships with students and parents through communication, goal-setting, and progress updates; and works with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching and supporting students’ musical growth.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
Two years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
