About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking skilled musicians and dedicated educators to teach private music lessons and help students build lifelong relationships with music. The Music Teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. The role includes regular communication with students and parents, setting goals and sharing progress updates, and partnering with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching and inspiring learners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.

• Partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.
