About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking an educator and skilled musician to teach private music lessons and inspire students. The role involves creating an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching. The teacher communicates regularly with students and parents about goals and progress and works with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments: banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
