About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a skilled musician and dedicated educator to teach private music lessons and inspire students. The Music Teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. The role focuses on teaching and student growth, while store teams handle administrative work such as scheduling lessons. Teachers build relationships with students and parents through communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, and work with store teams to encourage student retention.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• 8 or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
