About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a Music Teacher to teach private music lessons and inspire students. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for learners of varying ages and skill levels, helps students develop through musical instruction, and builds relationships with students and parents through communication, goal-setting, and progress updates. The role partners with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching. The position is part of a company focused on music education, creativity, and helping people develop lifelong relationships with music.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• 8 or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
