About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking skilled musicians and dedicated educators to teach private music lessons and inspire students. The Music Teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varied ages and skill levels. The role focuses on teaching and student development, while Music & Arts handles administrative work. The teacher communicates regularly with students and parents, sets goals, shares progress updates, and works with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• 8 or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.

• Partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.
