About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a Music Teacher to teach private lessons and inspire students. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. The role includes building positive relationships with students and parents through communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, as well as partnering with store teams on lesson scheduling and student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so teachers can focus on instruction and helping students grow as musicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degrees (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• 8+ years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
