About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a Music Teacher to teach private lessons and inspire students. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. The role includes communicating with students and parents about goals and progress, coordinating lesson schedules with store teams, and encouraging student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in music education, music performance, or equivalent experience, and two years of music teaching experience. Advanced music degrees, professional teaching memberships or certifications, and extensive teaching experience across multiple instruments are preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience.

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.

• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
