About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a Music Teacher to teach and inspire students through private music lessons. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels, and helps learners build lasting relationships with music. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching. The role includes communicating regularly with students and parents, setting goals, sharing progress, and partnering with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.

Responsibilities
