About The Position

This is a part-time position in the Music Department at Speedway, requiring less than 32 hours per week. The role involves applying customer service knowledge to assist customers with purchases and questions, handling cash and trade transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• Good communication and customer service skills
• Motivation to serve customers
• Able to efficiently and accurately complete sales transactions
• Ability to deescalate situations that may arise in a retail work environment working with the public
• Cash Handling and POS knowledge
• Able to adapt to a flexible working schedule with early mornings, evenings, mid-shifts, and weekends

Responsibilities

• Apply customer service knowledge to assist customers with their purchases and questions.
• Continuously incorporate positive customer-focused strategies.
• Handle cash and trade transactions in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean, orderly counter area free of clutter, in front, on top and behind.
