1. PURPOSE 1. Define tasks of Equipment Operator/Line Technician 2. Successfully pass Mechanical Aptitude Testing 2. PROCEDURE 2. Set up equipment. 3. Inspect and maintain all line equipment, Multivac, checkweigher/Metal Detector, Code Dater, Labelers, ADCO, etc.. Verify recipe setting is correct. 4. 15 minutes before start of shift, cycle the T800 and correct any issues prior to running. 5. All lines must start at the shift time. (600am-1st Shift/300pm 2nd Shift) 6. Late starts must be documented and reported to Plant Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. 7. Target line speed is a minimum of 70 packs/min during all operational run times. 8. Inspect packages on the line and work with line leads operation supervisor to improve tray filling and overall process quality. 9. Change film, adjust print format, adjust machine settings as needed to keep line running efficiently with reduced rework issues. Before making setting adjustment notify maintenance supervisor 10. Verify that O2 reading and burst test results meet acceptance criteria in coordination with QA. 11. Track Aptean issues and report any issues that are keeping the line under the targeted 70 packs/min. If you stop the machine, select the correct DT code. 12. If there is a mechanical issue, try to resolve making known adjustments. If this does not resolve the issue, call maintenance and Plant Manager immediately. 13. Work with Maintenance technicians on all assigned PM work, may include weekends. 3. MONITORING 3. QC technicians will document product checks every hour during production. 4. CORRECTIVE ACTIONS 4. Any issues regarding Corrective Actions need to be escalated to the Plant Manager. 5. RECORDS 5. Monitor Aptean and log all equipment issues correctly. 6. Submit in final paperwork to the Plant Manager and Maintenance Supervisor at the end of the shift
