Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating production equipment in a food manufacturing, food production, food preparation, or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to accurately operate weighing scales, measuring devices, and other production equipment.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment with strict deadlines and operational requirements.
  • Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment maintained between 0°C and 10°C.
  • Physically capable of standing and remaining active for extended periods, including shifts of up to 8–10 hours.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated reliability, with a strong commitment to attendance and punctuality.
  • Flexibility to work afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts based on operational needs.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic and commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Demonstrates a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a temperature-controlled production environment maintained between 0°C and 10°C.
  • Prepare, portion, and package food products in accordance with established recipes, specifications, and production schedules.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain portioning and packaging equipment safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance or operational concerns to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to all food safety, quality assurance, and workplace health and safety requirements while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Complete end-of-shift sanitation and cleaning tasks and accurately stage finished products for the next phase of production.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift, including standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
