About The Position

Arjobex America is expanding in Charlotte, NC, and is seeking Machine Operators to join their team. Arjobex is the world's only manufacturer of a specialized, synthetic paper made from high-density polyethylene with a print-receptive coating, marketed internationally as Polyart. This product offers excellent durability and printability for applications such as self-adhesive and in-mold labels, destruction-proof maps, and durable technical manuals for harsh environments. Arjobex operates manufacturing sites in Great Britain, France, and Charlotte, NC. The Machine Operator position is designed to provide meaningful work, sufficient income, security planning, and time for friends and family, serving as a career-ending role.

Technical competence usually from at least 1 year Operator experience in a relevant manufacturing environment such as a mill or plastics industry rather than production line facility.
Technically and mechanically competent.
Basic computer skills including apps and some work with spreadsheets.
Ability to understand various units of measure and convert to and from standard measurements to the metric system.

Responsibilities

Making high-end quality plastic film within a climate-controlled facility.
Operating multiple logic-controlled machines within the facility (Extrusion, Coater, Slitter, Sheeter, Stretcher and more).
Implementing and maintaining defined operating parameters and controlled setups.
Ensuring product compliance and quality.
Commitment to international Safety Standards including industrial fork lift operation.
Maintaining accurate records for Inventory Control.
Acquiring job and technical competence using a self-driven multi-skill program.
