About The Position

The Machine Operator will be responsible for assisting in the setup, adjustment, and operation of machinery to produce goods or parts according to specifications. This role involves supporting the acquisition of operation plans, processing manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients, and performing mechanical processing as needed. Additionally, the operator will be responsible for cleaning, servicing, and performing routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal working condition. They will monitor machines during operation, identify and troubleshoot problems, and support process optimization. Accurate record-keeping of machine performance is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• Experience with machine setup, adjustment, and operation
• Ability to follow operation plans and process manufacturing batches
• Skills in performing mechanical processing
• Proficiency in cleaning, servicing, and routine maintenance of machinery
• Capability to monitor machine operations and perform basic repairs
• Problem-solving skills for identifying machine issues and optimizing processes
• Ability to administer operational processes and maintain accurate records

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the setup, adjustment and operation of machinery to produce goods or parts according to specifications
• Supporting the acquisition of operation plans and carrying out the processing of manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients, including mechanical processing as required
• Performing cleaning, servicing and routine maintenance on machines to ensure they remain in good working order
• Supporting the monitoring of machines during operation to ensure they are functioning properly and carrying out repairs as needed
• Identifying problems (causes) that occur with machines and supporting the optimization of processes for troubleshooting
• Administering operational processes and keeping accurate records of machine performance
