About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Multiskilled Technician IV to join their team in Winston Salem, NC. This role involves providing an intermediate level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and systems in an industrial manufacturing environment. The technician will perform all aspects of maintenance on industrial systems including CNC machinery, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and coolant systems. They will work alongside other technicians, communicate effectively with management and customers, identify and correct safety issues, and perform equipment evaluations. The position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.

Requirements

High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
Five years of experience performing general maintenance repair in an industrial environment or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to perform Geometric checks and adjustments on CNC machines.

Responsibilities

Performance of preventive maintenance on process/production equipment as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Respond to and provide service and feedback to the customer on all work orders while assuring compliance with codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.
Understand company policies and enforce safety regulations.
Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tag out procedures and wearing PPE as required.
Prepare/complete assigned tasks in conformance with applicable procedure requirements provided by the supervisor.
Coordinates work with others in discipline group and other discipline groups on the project.
Responsible for neatness and accuracy of work.
May train other technicians.
May prepare formal reports on experiments, tests, and other projects.
Provides technical guidance and assistance to less experienced personnel.
Perform other tasks as requested by management.
