About The Position

Join the Connectivity, Cellular, and Satellite team to develop the next generation of Multi-Radio Coexistence (Coex). The role architects and optimizes real-time scheduling algorithms that allow wireless technologies—including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Satellite, Thread, Cellular, and next-generation protocols—to operate concurrently in shared spectrum while minimizing interference and maintaining user experience. The engineer will shape wireless software and systems from concept through release, partnering with development and systems teams across wireless domains to address coexistence challenges, prioritize concurrent traffic, and eliminate mutual RF interference. The position also drives architectural improvements, identifies test coverage gaps, and develops and maintains AI-based automation frameworks for complex, real-world multi-radio scenarios.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a Wireless Systems Engineering role.
  • In-depth understanding of Multi-Radio Coexistence scheduling, real-time priority arbitration, and concurrent wireless behavior across technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Cellular, Thread, and Satellite.
  • Hands-on systems engineering experience across multiple radio technologies under concurrent traffic and high-interference conditions.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks.
  • Deep debugging and root-cause analysis skills in complex wireless communications environments, including use of protocol analyzers, over-the-air sniffer captures, and system trace logs.
  • Experience developing, integrating, or deploying Generative AI and machine-learning tools to enhance test automation and data analysis.
  • Ability to perform deep-dive analysis and engage in both manual exploration and automation.
  • Ability to investigate complex multi-radio failures, prioritize by customer impact, and propose clear technical resolutions.
  • Ability to work under tight schedules and deliver reliable, high-quality results on time.
  • Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects across diverse engineering domains while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and technical documentation skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences and influence cross-functional roadmaps.
  • Self-driven, inquisitive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in early design phases to evaluate wireless coexistence architectures, review software and firmware specifications, and provide cross-functional hardware design recommendations.
  • Develop end-to-end qualification strategies for multi-radio arbitration, real-time priority scheduling, latency control, and throughput optimization.
  • Identify automation opportunities and develop and maintain intelligent, AI-based test automation frameworks for complex concurrent radio states.
  • Collaborate with software, firmware, hardware, systems, and performance teams across Cellular, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Thread, and Satellite domains to conduct root-cause analysis and specify design improvements.
  • Identify test coverage gaps, eliminate redundant testing across teams, and establish regression suites to safeguard software release quality.
  • Investigate complex multi-radio failures, prioritize them by customer impact, and propose technical resolutions.
  • Design, build, and maintain internal testing tools and diagnostic utilities that improve team-wide testing efficiency.
  • Lead technical initiatives and mentor team members.
