About The Position

The Multi-modality Technologist provides quality imaging and patient care in two or more imaging modalities. The technologist explains procedures to patients, ensures competence in the procedures being performed, and produces images for interpretation and/or at the request of a licensed practitioner. The role requires the ability to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision, function effectively in a team-oriented environment, and apply age-specific criteria. The position is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., for 40 hours per week, at the Kershaw CT Scan cost center. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is listed.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
At least one year of radiologic experience.
Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography.
Licensure by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (or an AHA-recognized equivalent) or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
Ability to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision.
Ability to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with age-specific criteria.
Ability to meet the listed physical requirements, including frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions, and infrequent lifting and carrying of up to 15 pounds.
