Please note that only candidates with prior multi-spindle screw machine operator experience will be considered for this position. The team member is responsible for the overall operation of a minimum of two multiple spindle screw machines. Works from blueprints and is responsible for quality.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Knowledge of blueprints and gaging.
Prior experience with multi-spindle screw machines.
Physically capable of lifting a minimum of 40# on a repetitive basis and a maximum of 80# on an occasional basis.
Must wear PPE which includes hearing protection and safety glasses.
Must provide slip resistant shoes.

Responsibilities

Observe blueprints for all dimensions and requirements to assure maximum quality and production.
Must be capable of operating a minimum of two multi-spindle screw machines at maximum quality while meeting rate standards.
Responsible for sharpening basic cutting tools including cut off blades, form tools, shave tools and drills.
Maintaining proper fluid levels in machines.
Understand and interpret quality data from the SPC system charts.
Observe blueprints for all dimensions and requirements to assure maximum quality and production.
Maintain a clean, safe and efficient work environment.
Other assignments as needed.
