About The Position

Camp Fire Alaska is seeking a Multi-Site Program Staff member to join their team. This role involves facilitating hands-on, educational activities such as arts and crafts, sports, games, and structured play in a safely organized after-school program setting. The goal is to help youth develop social, emotional, physical, and academic skills, enabling them to reach their full potential. The position offers the opportunity to engage in work that supports Camp Fire’s mission to help youth find their spark, lift their voice, and discover who they are.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old.
• Ability to work 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM Monday- Friday.
• Ability to transport self to work and to the Camp Fire office for trainings.
• Ability to work at a variety of site locations.
• 1 year of experience working successfully with children in a group setting.
• Adult/Child/Infant CPR, AED & First Aid certification (provided after hire).
• Food Worker Card (provided after hire).
• Mandated Reporter training certificate (provided after hire).
• Health & Safety certificate (provided after hire).

Nice To Haves

• Training or experience in youth development, education, or recreation.

Responsibilities

• Supervising activities with groups of youth across various program locations within geographic areas.
• Working between 20 - 25 hours per week (average).
• Committing to 4 hours daily of site time.
• Potentially working 1-2 additional hours daily for meetings and trainings (times vary).
