About The Position
We're looking for a driven part-time Multi-Outlet Barback in Austin, TX who's ready to contribute to an exceptional member experience while growing their hospitality career in one of Texas' most prestigious private clubs. Established in 1899, Austin Country Club is one of Texas's most historic private clubs and the former home of legendary golf instructor Harvey Penick. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a restaurant supporting bar operations
- Base knowledge of Beer, Wine, and Liquor
- TABC and Texas Food Handlers certifications
- Strong communication skills
- Team Player
- Ability to put your best foot forward and present yourself in a clean and professional way
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to Stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time
Nice To Haves
- Basic computer skills are a plus
- Club experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and supplies while keeping bar operations running smoothly
- Assist bartenders by maintaining clean, organized stations and preparing garnishes, glassware, and equipment
- Support daily service, special events, and club functions by transporting inventory, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining a professional member experience
