Requirements

Proven experience in construction project coordination or management
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Leadership ability and effective communication skills
Ability to coordinate multiple trades and resolve conflicts efficiently
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

Set forth goals and objectives for individual subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met
Plan and establish work schedules for subcontractors, coordinating activities to optimize efficiency
Plan and control material deliveries and storage to prevent delays and ensure smooth workflow
Set standards for quality assurance and monitor subcontractor compliance
Plan and coordinate subcontractor activities to avoid conflicts between different trades
Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings to update project schedules and address issues
Determine subcontractor workload requirements and establish necessary workforce levels
Conduct safety training meetings with subcontractors to promote a safe work environment
Provide leadership and guidance to workers, fostering a productive and positive work environment
Ensure the safety and health of all workers on site, enforcing OSHA compliance
Enforce daily clean-up procedures and maintain a tidy worksite
Control the flow of materials and supplies to prevent shortages or excess
Monitor and control subcontractor schedules to ensure timely project completion
Ensure all required building inspections are scheduled and passed in accordance with regulations
