About The Position

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the MRI Technologist performs diagnostic MR exams using appropriate imaging equipment and techniques. The role follows Beaumont’s philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

This part-time position is based at Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital, a 305-bed teaching facility with Level II trauma status. It is scheduled for 24 hours per week on evening shifts, with variable days and every fourth weekend.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program or a JRCNMT-accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• One year of relevant experience.
• Hold one of the listed qualifying imaging certifications upon hire, including an accepted ARRT, ARMRIT, ARDMS, or NMTCB credential, as specified in the posting.
• Obtain ARRT MRI or ARMRIT MRI board registry certification within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• One to three years of clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level.
• ARMRIT MRI certification upon hire.
