About The Position

Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital is hiring a full-time MRI Technologist for evening shifts. Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the technologist performs diagnostic MRI exams using appropriate imaging equipment and techniques. The role follows Beaumont’s philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital is a 305-bed teaching facility with Level II trauma status. The position is based at the Farmington Hills Hospital site, has 40 scheduled hours per week, and includes variable workdays and every fourth weekend.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program or a JRCNMT-accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• One year of relevant experience.
• Required applicable imaging certification upon hire, as listed in the posting; MRI ARRT or ARMRIT board registry certification is required within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• One to three years of clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.
• ARMRIT certification upon hire is listed as preferred.
