About The Position

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs diagnostic MR exams using appropriate imaging equipment and techniques. Follows Beaumont’s philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times. This is a part-time evening position at Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital, with 24 scheduled hours per week and variable work hours and days. Weekend work is required every fourth weekend.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program or a JRCNMT-accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• One year of relevant experience.
• At least one applicable certification is required upon hire: ARRT MRI, ARRT Radiation Therapist, ARRT Radiographer, ARRT or ARDMS Sonographer, ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technologist, NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technologist, ARDMS Vascular Technologist, or ARDMS Musculoskeletal certification.
• ARRT MRI or ARMRIT board registry certification is required within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• One to three years of clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level.
• ARMRIT certification upon hire.
