About The Position

UPMC Touchstone Medical Imaging is opening an outpatient diagnostic imaging location in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. The joint venture between UPMC and Touchstone Medical Imaging provides comprehensive medical imaging services at one location. The organization is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist to provide imaging services. The schedule is Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with no on-call duties or holidays.

Requirements

• Current, valid ARRT certification in the applicable modality.
• Pennsylvania license.
• Graduate of an approved Radiological Technology program.
• Basic computer proficiency, including use of monitors, keyboard, and mouse for scanning, RIS, and PACS.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and observant.
• Calm and effective communicator.
• Helpful, patient, and sympathetic.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scanning using computer monitors, a keyboard, and a mouse, and use RIS and PACS.
• Lift, move, position, and assist patients on and off the examination table.
• Communicate calmly and effectively with patients.
