About The Position

Lumexa Imaging is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist for UPMC Touchstone Medical Imaging, a joint venture between UPMC and Touchstone Medical Imaging, at a new outpatient imaging location in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. The center will provide convenient, cost-effective outpatient diagnostic imaging services.

The position works Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with no on-call duties or holidays. The technologist performs MRI work and assists patients with getting on and off the examination table, including lifting, moving, and positioning them.

Requirements

• Current, valid ARRT certification in the relevant modality.
• Pennsylvania license.
• Graduate of an approved Radiological Technology program.
• Basic proficiency with computer monitors, keyboard, and mouse for scanning, RIS, and PACS use.
• Organized, detail oriented, and observant.
• Calm and effective communicator.
• Helpful, patient, and sympathetic.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scanning using computer monitors, keyboard, and mouse.
• Use RIS and PACS.
• Lift, move, and position patients and assist them on and off the examination table.
