About The Position

Cardinal Points Imaging is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our team! If you are passionate about providing excellent patient care and enjoy working in a supportive outpatient environment, we would love to hear from you. Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the MRI Technologist will perform routine to complex MRI procedures and produce quality images for interpretation by a licensed provider. Provide safe, high-quality patient care while following established guidelines and regulatory requirements. Work closely with the imaging center team to provide a positive experience for our patients. Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum associate's degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
  • Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current, valid ARRT registration.
  • Must hold an advanced registration in MRI through ARRT or obtain it within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Must meet applicable state licensure requirements for the state in which they practice.
  • BLS certification is required within 60 days of hire.
  • Knowledge of routine to complex MRI procedures and protocols.
  • Skill in operating MRI equipment and applicable ancillary equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask.
  • Ability to provide accurate and concise documentation.
  • Understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and data retrieval.

Nice To Haves

  • Up to 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
