About The Position

Cardinal Points Imaging is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join their team. This is a part-time flex position with varying days and times, working 20-30 hours per week across locations in Clayton, Raleigh, and Wake Forest. The MRI Technologist will perform routine to complex MRI procedures, produce quality images for interpretation, and provide safe, high-quality patient care while following established guidelines and regulatory requirements. They will also work closely with the imaging center team to ensure a positive patient experience.

Requirements

Must have a minimum associate's degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT.
Must hold a MR advanced registration through ARRT or must obtain it within their first 12 months of employment.
Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
Knowledge of routine to complex MRI procedures and protocols.
Skill in operation of MRI equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.
Ability to work independently and multitask.
Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
Demonstrates understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.

Nice To Haves

Up to 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
