About The Position

Mount Carmel is seeking a casual MRI Technologist to cover open shifts and PTO. The role offers scheduling flexibility, competitive pay, and work with a collaborative, patient-focused team. In accordance with the organization’s Mission and Guiding Behaviors, the MRI Technologist performs MRI procedures and related professional and non-clinical duties while supporting optimal image quality. The position provides patient care, promotes patient safety, evidence-based practice, and quality initiatives, and maintains professionalism in accordance with Radiology and Imaging national standards. The technologist enters charges into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and is accountable for accurate charge entry under administrative policy.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Magnetic Resonance Technology Program.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Registered as an MR Technologist (ARRT), MR, or certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technology (ARMRIT).
• Effective communication skills.
• Current CPR certification.

• Provide patient care and ensure an environment of patient safety.

• Perform a variety of MRI procedures and related professional and non-clinical duties consistent with optimal image quality.
• Enter charges in the Radiology Information System (RIS) and ensure accurate charge entry in accordance with administrative policy.
• Cover open shifts and PTO coverage.
