About The Position

Mount Carmel is seeking a casual MRI Technologist to help cover open shifts and provide PTO coverage. The role offers competitive pay rates, scheduling flexibility, and the opportunity to work as part of a collaborative, patient-focused team.

In accordance with Mount Carmel’s Mission and Guiding Behaviors, the MRI Technologist performs a variety of professional and non-clinical MRI procedures consistent with optimal image quality. The technologist provides patient care, maintains patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives, and demonstrates professionalism in accordance with established Radiology and Imaging National standards. The role also includes accurately entering online charges in the Radiology Information System (RIS) and being accountable for charges as specified by Administrative Policy.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Magnetic Resonance Technology Program.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Registration as an MR Technologist (ARRT), MR, or certification through the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technology (ARMRIT).
• Current CPR certification.
• Effective communication skills.

• Prior MRI experience preferred.
